About the project
While working on complex enterprise UX at Anaplan, I noticed accessibility was often addressed too late—leading to costly rework and inconsistent experiences. I initiated and led the creation of an Accessibility Annotation Kit to bring accessibility into the design process from day one. This kit helped designers annotate key elements like headings, tab order, and alt text directly in Figma, aligning with WCAG 2.2 standards. It bridged the gap between design and development, improved collaboration, and reduced accessibility issues during QA. What began as a self-driven effort evolved into a scalable toolkit adopted across teams, helping shift the culture toward accessibility-first design.
